Lawrence Music Alliance programs support our music ecosystem in three main ways:
The Lawrence Music Alliance regularly offers workshops, webinars, professional development and training opportunities aimed at improving the business and creative practices of our members and the wider music community.
The music alliance aims to better connect our music community, sharing knowledge and opportunities to improve creative practices. We support networking with meetups, partner programs, convenings, discussions, and artist talks.
We work to support employment opportunities, grants and gigs for the music community. We partner with grant-makers, venues and the City of Lawrence in creating paid opportunities for artists in a variety of settings.
